We are looking for a Seasonal Train Driver/Cleaning Assistant to join our team to help maintain the very high standards we require at our award winning park during our main summer season.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and articulate individual, able to drive our train and to give our guests all the relevant facts and information about all the animals and enclosures they will see on their ride around the park, whilst making it fun and entertaining.
We need someone who has a warm, friendly and outgoing personality and is very much a ‘people person’ - you must also be 25 or over due to our insurance liability. There will also be a requirement to assist in the day to day cleaning routine of the park.
Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be required to work weekdays in term time, plus weekends and Bank Holidays, with a flexible approach to hours.

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Activities & Education Officer at Banham Zoo.
This exciting role involves working in a close team to carry out the formal education and animal handling sessions, feeding talks, interpretation, event planning as well as animal husbandry.
Due to the nature of the business, this position involves weekend and bank holiday working.
The successful candidate will preferably have been educated up to degree level in order to teach our formal educational sessions. They will have experience of public speaking, education/teaching in formal or informal context, and have a good level of animal/environmental knowledge, coupled with excellent customer care. A full driving license is also essential.
