Bird of Prey Flying Display

The brown wood owl is a medium sized owl, closely related to the tawny owl. It has very dark eyes – indicating that it is a nocturnal (active at night) owl.

Brown wood owls nest in tree hollows or on a forked tree trunk. 1 to 2 eggs are laid, which are incubated for 30 days.
