Visit our Ranger Outposts and meet our passionate zookeepers, as they guide you through exciting animal care activities, sharing their expert knowledge about our incredible animals.
Put your skills to the test as you track animals, discover the secrets of animal behaviour through fun, interactive experiences designed for adventurers of all ages. Everyone in the family can get involved, learn, and explore together!

When is the Summer Safari event?
The Summer Safari Adventure runs from Wednesday, 23rd July to Tuesday, 2nd September 2025. It’s the perfect summer holiday activity for families, with activities available every day during this period.
What’s included?
The Summer Safari Adventure at Banham Zoo includes exciting activities like the fun-filled Stamp Trail, panoramic views from the Lookout Towers, interactive Ranger Outposts, and a thrilling Live Theatre Show. The Sky Safari Ferris Wheel ride and Junior Ranger School are also available for an additional cost. There’s something for every explorer to enjoy!
Do I need to book tickets in advance?
Yes, tickets are required for entry into the zoo and some activities. We recommend booking your tickets in advance to secure your spot and avoid disappointment, especially during peak summer days.
