AMAZING ANIMALS! - GET EVEN CLOSER!

This unique 30 minute presentation takes you on a journey into the fascinating world of animal behaviour and provides an insight into the world we share with these amazing animals! (Presentations vary throughout the year, please check notice board on day of visit).

EXPERIENCE AN INCREDIBLE - BIRD OF PREY DISPLAY

Experience one of the largest 'Bird of Prey' displays in the UK, including up to 9 vultures flying together! You won't believe your eyes as our awesome birds of prey demonstrate breathtaking natural behaviour, and swoop past you literally inches above your head! (Displays run from Easter to September, weather permitting. Please check notice boards on day of visit).

SAFARI ROADTRAIN

The next train arriving at platform Banham Zoo is the exciting Safari Roadtrain! Make sure you climb aboard for a captivating journey around the zoo with commentary (Subject to seasonal fluctuations contact Zoo Reception to check availability)

ACTIVITIES & EDUCATION CENTRE

Look, learn and play in our fun-packed Activity Centre and meet some of the smaller residents of the zoo at the animal encounter talks. Bring your school group here for a fascinating and animal interactive curriculum-linked discovery session!

GIRAFFE EXPERIENCE

Would you like to know what it is like to get up close and personal with one of our Giraffe and have an opportunity to feed them by hand? We have a limited number of 15 minute placements available each day where you can join a member of our team on the feeding talk platform. Details regarding prices and availability can be obtained at Zoo Reception.
