Food at the Zoo

The Parrot Pavilion, which is located in the heart of the zoo and close to Tarzan Towers adventure play area, has a range of healthy eating options to suit every appetite.

The restaurant offers a “Daily Special”, jacket potatoes with a selection of hot and cold fillings, a vegetarian option as well as children’s meals and our new “KIDZMIX” range.  The restaurant also has a Southern Fried Chicken outlet; here you can take your pick from a selection of meal deals including chicken fillets and wraps.

Trading Post Coffee Shop

If you fancy a quieter place to relax and unwind whilst at the zoo, the Trading Post Coffee Shop offers a more tranquil setting along with delicious varieties of coffees, teas, hot toasted paninis and a whole host of homemade cakes, deep filled sandwiches and French sticks.  Visitors can eat indoors or ‘al fresco’ on the terrace.

In addition to our restaurants and coffee shop, Snack Shacks are located around the zoo where you can buy hot and cold snacks, drinks and a selection of ice creams whilst en route.
