These two gorgeous girls and budding musicians created this magical song for the Zoological Society of East Anglia.
Since the temporary closure of both Banham Zoo and Africa Alive! due to Covid-19, our keepers have continued caring and feeding for all our thousands of amazing animals.
It costs £25,000 a week to feed and care for our animals. So far we have lost over 1 million pounds of visitor income, which would have fed and cared for our animals through to early next year, and no doubt we will lose more income still…..Government supported is limited so we rely totally on donations!
Their song “Raindrops on Rhino’s and Whiskers on Tigers” (a twist on the original Sound of Music song) is simply delightful and clever Ottilie edited it all too!

They really hope it can help us raise money for ZSEA (Zoological Society of East Anglia). It totally made our day! Although they would love to sing at Latitude (where the animals at Africa Alive! will probably be able to hear them if they do!), we hope they might come sing at the Zoo when they visit next too….We think they are amazing!
We loved it so much we designed a competition to help them raise money
