Banham Zoo gives you the chance to get up close with the charismatic but endangered lemurs of Madagascar in our ‘Lemur Encounters’ walk-through enclosure.
The enclosure is home to a troop of one of Madagascar’s most recognised inhabitants – the ring-tailed lemurs, and also to a group of some of its noisiest – the red ruffed lemurs.
Opening times are displayed at the entrance to Lemur Encounters.
For animal reasons pushchairs and buggies are not permitted into this enclosure but there is a buggy park located next door. We ask that you stick to the pathways and do not attempt to touch the lemurs. Food and drink is also not permitted in this enclosure.
