Key Stage 4 Programme
Each Key Stage 4 session includes the chance to meet a live animal and usually involves a powerpoint presentation for the key facts.

There’s No Business Like Zoo Business!
Banham Zoo is a place for the conservation and care of a variety of animals from around the world.
However to allow us to do this, the zoo must operate successfully as a business. In this session we look at the history of the Zoo, our customers, marketing and job roles within the zoo.
Health & Safety
Here at the Zoo, the health & safety of our guests, staff and animals is of prime importance. This session looks at risk assessment and minimising risks, first aid, safety procedures, training, legislation and signage within the Zoo.
Science In The Workplace
Science is essential for running a zoo! Biology, chemistry, veterinary medicines, physics, maths, environmental science and information technology! Find out how we use science and why it is so important to us.

We encourage photographs to be taken as they make a wonderful addition to a child’s learning journey. Please ensure all relevant consent has been obtained.
Sessions last approximately 45 mins and can seat up to 30 people.
Sessions are charged at £25 and include an education pack.
