What is an animal adoption at Banham Zoo?
Adopting an animal at Banham Zoo allows you to support your favourite species, from playful penguins to curious red pandas. You’ll receive a welcome pack, regular updates, and even admission to the zoo so you can see how your support makes a difference. PLUS packages include exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences with our zookeepers.
What do I receive with my adoption?
Every adoption comes with a welcome pack featuring a certificate, fact sheet, postcard, and plush of your chosen animal. Adult and Junior packs also include bookmarks, activity sheets, and other surprises. Your name will be displayed at the animal’s habitat, and you’ll receive quarterly updates by post or email.
What species can I adopt?
You can adopt red pandas, Amur tigers, snow leopards, or African black-footed penguins. All adoptions support the care of these animals at the zoo and global conservation initiatives.
