Location

Our Sky Safari Ferris Wheel is located at the back of the zoo, next to our Sri Lankan leopard habitat and opposite our giraffe paddock.

At 120ft high, it offers a whole new view of Banham Zoo and gives you the chance to see our animals like never before.

Times

The Sky Safari Ferris Wheel is open daily from 10:30am, with the last ride 30 minutes before zoo closing.

Available from the of 5th July for a limited time only this summer.

Duration

Each ride cycle lasts approximately 6–8 minutes, giving you plenty of time to sit back, enjoy the views, and spot some of your favourite animals from above.

Capacity

Each enclosed gondola can seat up to six people, making it perfect for families and small groups to enjoy the Sky Safari experience together.

accessibility

An accessible carriage is available, so more visitors can experience Banham Zoo from a whole new view.

Tickets

Tickets for the Sky Safari Ferris Wheel are £5 per person, or £15 for a group of four. Please note: Zoo admission is required and is not included with this experience. All guests must have a valid Banham Zoo admission ticket to enter the zoo.

Such a fun atmosphere from start to finish. Running through the zoo and seeing the animals along the route was so much fun — it's a proper event, not just a race. We stayed all day afterwards and made a full family day of it!
